Joan Buck



Joan Buck 73, of Mansfield, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday August 29, 2012, while resting at the Cherry Lane Nursing Center in Laurel, MD. Mrs. Buck was born July 3, 1939 in Alliance, Ohio to the late Moses Beverly and Emma Brown-Beverly. She resided in Mansfield for 46 years with her seven children. Mrs. Buck received Christ early in life and then became a member of Greater St. John COGIC in 1991, where she served as a member of the Usher Board. Mrs. Buck worked for Therm-O-Disc for 15 Years and as a Paraprofessional for Mansfield City Schools until her retirement in 2001. She moved to Laurel, MD in June of 2011. She loved reading books, spoiling her grandchildren and shopping at JC Penny (she referred to herself as an investor). She also loved traveling and spending her summers visiting her children in various states across the country. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Lee W. Buck, brothers, James (Lil Boy) Beverly and Robert (Bob) Beverly, sisters, Evelyn E. Merrell Puckett and Emma Jean Waters, grandson Antonio A. Andrews, Sr., granddaughter Alidajah U. Johnson and daughter in law Regina Andrews. Surviving Mrs. Buck are her children Deborah J. Andrews of Chicago, IL, Joseph A. (Brandi) Andrews Sr., of Mansfield, OH, Victor D. (Patti) Andrews, Sr. of Hattiesburg, MS, Reginald L. (Saundra) Andrews, Sr. of Laurel, MD, Brett W. Andrews of Corona, CA, Robert L. Andrews of Cleveland, OH, and Sherron R. Buck of Mansfield, OH, stepchildren Tyron D. Buck of Mansfield, OH and Iesha A. (Vincent) Davis-Rambo of Columbus, OH, 27 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
