THANK YOU FROM MRS. MARY MALLORY
to the Marlan Gary Funeral Home, Chapel of Peace

On behalf of Mrs. Mary Mallory, wife of Mr. Joe Henry Mallory, we thank God for compassionate and expert services provided by the Marlan Gary Funeral Home, Chapel of Peace when Mr. Mallory unexpected passed away at home. Mrs. Mallory called her church and spoke with Pastor Kevin Thomas who recommended Marlan Gary.

Mrs. Mallory and her husband arose early on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. As Mrs. Mallory prepared to leave for work, she made sure her husband was situated beforehand. At lunchtime she felt led to purchase some lunch food and return home to check on and feed her husband. When she arrived, Mr. Mallory had already departed this life. She was obviously shocked and upset, but quickly composed herself to begin planning for the homegoing for her husband. She called Pastor Thomas who recommended and called Mr. Marlan Gary who immediately alerted his team. Mr. Gary’s team promptly spoke with the proper authorities and arrived at the Mallory's home to minister to Mrs. Mallory and to care for Mr. Mallory's body.

Mrs. Mallory was extremely pleased with the professionalism provided by Marlan Gary and the Chapel of Peace. She asked her pastor to relay her satisfaction to the funeral home. She was pleased with their respectful demeanor, prompt responses, how well they dressed the body, and the expert way in which they prepared the body to be shipped down south for the homegoing celebration. The Chapel of Peace not only served the Mallory’s during their time of need, but ministered in such a way that Mrs. Mallory did not have to concern herself with unnecessary details. Their Christian competence allowed her to pay attention to other important details and to take time to catch her breath as she entered the grieving and healing process. Thank you, Chapel of Peace! Your name is befitting.

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the PEACE of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6–7 NKJV)

Respectfully Submitted by,
Pastor Kevin M Thomas on behalf of Mrs. Mary Mallory
