John B. Taylor, Sr. age 70. Sunrise November 8, 1945 and Sunset January 12, 2016. John retired from the City of Columbus. John was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Mary Taylor; wife, Patricia Taylor; brothers, Starling Taylor and John Thomas Bryant; and sister Betty Gillison. Left to cherish his memory, children, John B. Taylor, Jr. and Andrea Taylor; brothers, Henry Taylor, Jr. and James (Jill) Bryant; sisters, Orpha (Ward) Moore and Katie Bell Lavender; and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation 6 p.m. and Funeral 7 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2016 at Higher Ground Always Abounding Assemblies, 870 St. Clair Ave. Interment 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Greenlawn Cemetery.
