John Christopher Bythewood Sr., age 56. Sunrise March 4, 1960 and Sunset June 22, 2016.

John was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ and was baptized at Temple of Compassion.

John was preceded in death by his grandparents Joe and Janie Bythewood, father Joe Bythewood Sr., sister Brenda N. Napper, and brother Joe Bythewood Sr.

Left to cherish his memory, mother Johne May Black Bythewood Nichols, wife Vivian A. Rankin Bythewood, son John C. (Carly) Bythewood Jr., stepsons Yakka (Ikia) Rankin, Chaffon (Demicha) Rankin, Shamarr Rankin and Anthony Braden, grandchildren Nevaeh & Messiahian Bythewood, Charles & Carlito Brooks, mother of son Shelly Diggs, uncle Bishop Edward A. (June) Black, mother in law Eunice Rankin, brother in law William Rankin, sisters in law Brenda Hawkins, Vickie White, Teresa (Thomas) Burney, Tammy Hawkins, Theresa Flanagan and Ester Bythewood, special nieces, Sheena & Keesha Bythewood, Tia (Jason) Miller, Tammy (Steve) Hartley, Tasheana Bythewood, and Tyreona Farr, nephew Joseph Johnson, and a host of other grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, homies, and friends.
