SMITH,
Joe I. Smith was born on April 21, 1945 to Ola Mae Curry and Robert Smith in Owensboro, Kentucky. He departed this life after a long battle with cancer on Wednesday November 4, 2015. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Herman Williams Jr., Earl Edward Owens, and Harvey Smith, and Sister Margie Fountain. Joe leaves to cherish his memory sisters Mary (Willie) Brown, Georgia (Stanley) Rowan, Mary G. Williams, and brothers Robert Smith, Michael Smith, and Leon Smith, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Also a very special friend Brenda Montgomery, Willie and Brenda Brown, Luscious “Jim Danny”. Special nephews Adrian (Scotty) Smith and Arian Greer. Visitation 3pm and Funeral 4pm Saturday November 7, 2015 at MARLAN J.
