To the Jones family. My heart is with you and your family at this time of your loss. There is comfort in knowing God’s promises about the resurrection hope. (Acts 24:15) and (John 5:28,29) In the past God has resurrected humans and He is eager to do it again because He hates death. My memories of Uncle Pete over my 50 years: Always smiling – even when he was upset, it was short lived, never an unkind word, a ready hug, willing to play the guessing game of who’s who, reminder of how much each one was loved or missed after long intervals, a ready hymnal on his tongue and a long warm embrace into that jolly belly of his, contained in that tall torso, sound of his deep voice always reminding me of the love and joy of family… He will be deeply missed, until we actually see one another again.
