John W. “JuneBug” Austin Jr.

John W. “Junebug” Austin Jr., was born to the late John Sr., and Dorothy Austin on March 16, 1959.  Junebug passed away peacefully at the age of 63, surrounded by family.

Junebug wore many hats throughout his life.  He was a paralegal, DJ, cook, and night club owner.  Junebug was a loving father, grandfather, and father-in-law.

Junebug was preceded in death by his parents John Sr., and Dorothy; brother’s Bobby and Derrick; bonus daughter Smoky.

Left behind to cherish his memory are daughters Erika (Audrey), D’Johna, Nikki (Darrell); son John III (Alexis); bonus children Arline, Nicole, Mindy, Mikey, Patrick, and Reese;  grandchildren Chucky, Jeremiah, Alex, Terrell Jr., Erik, Phinelope, Josohn, and bonus grandchildren;  great-grandchild A’Keena; siblings Josie, Dorothy, Thomas, Carlton, and Lewis; special friends Eric “Doc” and Jerry “Roadog”; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

Visitation 1:00 PM and Funeral Service 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).
