Jonathan Dwayne Davis, Jr., “Jon Jon or Jizzle”, was born to Brittainy Gabrielle Wright and Jonathan Dwayne Davis, Sr. on March 10, 2001 in Columbus, Ohio and departed this life on Sunday, October 11, 2020. He was baptized on September of 2009 at Heart of Christ Community Church by Bishop Larry Cochran.

Jonathan was a senior at South High School. He was skilled in construction and home remodeling and often worked with his dad. He had both a serious and silly demeanor. He enjoyed spending time with his life-time friends and at 6’ 6” and 270 pounds, he was a gentle giant.

Jonathan was proceeded in death by maternal grandparents, Gwendolyn Favors and Terry Moore; paternal grandmother, Caroleen Davis; friends, Antoine and Brae Brae; and extended family uncle, Jay Nichols.

Jonathan leaves to cherish his memory parents, Brittainy Wright and Jonathan Davis; brothers, Ari Backus and Maurice Jackson; extended brothers, Tamron and Scooter Battle; paternal grandfather, John Davis; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; a very special aunt and godmother, Stephanie Meredith; his lifetime friends (he called family) Jakye, Mookie, Marque, Joe, Davion, and Wheels.

Jon Jon was loved by all who knew him and his smile would light up the room.

Private Visitation 11:00 AM and Funeral Service 12:00 PM Monday, October 19, 2020 at Meredith Temple COGIC, 1158 Mt. Vernon Ave.

Masks and Social Distancing are required.
