
Joseph Talbert, age 73, was called home on April 18, 2022 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital.
After high school Joseph joined the United States Marine Corps where he served in the Vietnam War. He had over 33 years of Federal Service. Joseph loved spending time with family and attending his grandson’s sporting events.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents Clarence F. Talbert Sr. and Elizabeth Artis Talbert and brother Amos Talbert.
Joseph is survived by his daughter, Dana (Brent) Talbert-Raymond; son, Derek Talbert; God-daughter, Megan Joy Talbert; grandsons, Dion, Kyson, Brendan, Dylan, and Jordan; granddaughter, Tasia; sisters, Brenda (Morris) Goodly, Annie (August) Guillory, Ella Mae Talbert, and Barbara Talbert; brothers, Chester (Lois) Talbert, Freddie (Debra) Talbert, Jessie (Cecelia) Talbert, Clarence F. Talbert Jr., Hosea (Dianna) Talbert, Charles (Wilda) Talbert, Jasper (Mary) Talbert, Peter (Gwen) Johnson, Robert Talbert, and Darrell (Lisa) Talbert; aunts, Lelia Artis and Shirlene Pollard; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
