Josephine Palmer, age 89, was born on May 8, 1927 to the late Alice and Jimmy Lee Jackson in Cedartown, Georgia. She departed this life on February 23, 2017 at Isabelle Ridgway Care Center in Columbus, Ohio. Josephine is preceded in death by her husband, Otis Palmer; daughter, Mary Patilla; parents, Alice and Jimmy Lee Jackson; and several brothers and sisters. Left to cherish her memory, grandchildren, Kim (Thomas) Walker, Lugene Patilla, and Eric Patilla; great grandchildren, Durrell Patilla and Desoray Patilla; great great granddaughter, Damiya Tarpeh; brother, Carl (Linda) Jackson; sister, Ida Mae Anderson; special friend, Diane Niermeyer; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation 6:00pm and Memorial Service 7:00pm Wednesday March 1, 2017 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
