Josiah Anthony Miller, age 13 was born on October 26, 2008 to the parents, Latasha Hayes and Chico Miller. He passed away on July 31, 2022.
Josiah attended Linden McKinley High School. He worked at Eastland Mall at Addicted to Kicks. He went around the neighborhood cutting grass. He had a lot of friends and people that loved him. He was a shining light. Everywhere he went he lit up a room. He loved to dance and smile and make jokes with his mom. He loved to eat. He loved playing football as he had dreams of becoming a quarter back. He made friends everywhere he went and had an impact on everyone’s life that he entered. Josiah was always full of life.
Josiah is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Theresa Chandler and Lula Moulaye; aunt, Alonda Sleimat; and cousins, Adrian Miller and Djuan Poole.
Josiah is survived by his mother, Latasha (Corey Lowe) Hayes; father, Chico (Kevina) Miller; grandparents, Daniece Hayes, Tamara Miller, Robert Chandler, and Willard Purdie, sisters, Capri Miller, Kiara Chandler, and Anila Bowles; brothers, Lamaj Lowe, Jalen Miller, Jordan Cooper, Chico Miller Jr., Nehemiah Miller, Kevin Bowels, and Kamaur Carter: and a host of many aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
Josiah will be truly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

It’s really hard to say goodbye, my heart been so heavy, but just know that Josiah “our loveable Jo Jo” has gotten his wings. He will TRULY be missed. I met Jojo at Eastland Mall, where he worked for my son. He had such a uniquely big personality…one that I will never forget. I know how much my son Hasan loved and cared about him. My thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathies are with all of those who loved and cared for him. Jojo is in the arms of the Lord God. I hope that fond memories of him will live on in the hearts of the lives he touched. Jojo made such an impact on my son’s life and memories of him will be cherished. My heart goes out to all of you.
