Judith Ann Seward, age 87, was born February 22, 1933 and departed this life on July 22, 2020. Judith was born and raised in Chillicothe and attended Southern School.

Judith worked as a Nurse Aide at Chillicothe Hospital and School Monitor at Chillicothe High School. Judith was a member of First Baptist Church Chillicothe where she served with The Senior Choir and The Ruth Missionary Society.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Harris and Charles Hitchens; husband, Ward Jack Seward Sr.; children, Steven Hitchens and Ronnie Hitchens; granddaughter, Chene’ Farrow; and siblings, Bobby, Charles, Carl, Marty, and Patricia.

Judith leaves to cherish her memory, children, Christy (Randy) Beverly, Lisa Seward, Danny (Jovannah) Seward and Ward Jack (Keisha) Seward Jr.; sisters, Frances Woodard and Sonya Powell; 18 grandchildren, Ronnie Jr., Falon, Patircia (Wassi), Nicole, Shannon, Randray, Berdettia (BJ) Yaumi, Erica, Setphen, Meca, Wardel, Dantiae, Raheem, Zyria, Sonya, Jasper, and Sir Stephen; 32 great grandchildren, Kayleigha, Ronnie III, Jasmeaka, Kelvin “KD”, Ariya, Ayden, Alyse, Araya, Caleb, Hannah, Haylee, Victor, Zaven, Morgan, Jayda, Brooklyn, Shai, Arianna, Mekhia, Annie, Trinity, Hezekiah, Saune, Devin, Raven, Kali, Makenzie, Iana, Iceah, Layla, Alana, and Daniel; 7 great-great grandchildren, Shylene, Carter, Amiyah, Tyson, Georgiano, Chrisiana, and Halley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation 10:00am -11:30 am Saturday, August 1, 2020 at First Baptist Church Chillicothe 65 W. 4th St.

Graveside Service 12:00 PM at Grandview Cemetery Chillicothe.

My condolences to the immediate and extended famliy for the passing of your loved one, Judy. Although many years have passed since my last seeing and talking to Judy, I remember her well along with her siblings.
