This world is not my home. My home is with my God in the place” He’s” made for me. He’s coming back real soon. The signs are very clear. So when the trumpet sounds, I’ll be out of here.
Kathryn E. Black was born in Mason County, Kentucky on April 29, 1927 to the late Orville and Mary Black. She was a member of Bethel Baptist in Maysville, Kentucky before moving to Columbus, Ohio. She was also a faithful member of Community Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio with Pastor Mitchell McGuire, where she sang in the choir and was an usher. Later she joined Christ Memorial Baptist Church , Columbus, Ohio and she joined the choir. She was a faithful member until her health prevented her from attending.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted daughter, Geraldine Cauley; 2 grandchildren, Angela Cauley (Ian Blunt) of Columbus, Ohio and Dirk (Camille) Cauley of Cheverly , Maryland; 6 great-grandchildren , Sydney, Tylyr, Amina, Nasir, Erin , Erin as well as a host of nieces nephews and cousins.
Kathryn will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
Private service Visitation 10:30 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.
A mask is mandatory.
Interment at Evergreen.

I used to work at General Tire at Town and Country Shopping Center. Kathryn used to bring her blue Dodge Aspen
in for service. She was always so pleasant and had a sort of glow about her self.
That’s been a long time ago but seeing her picture makes it seem like yesterday.
