Kelvin Gerard Jeanette Johnson, age 34 of Columbus, Ohio passed away suddenly on Thursday , November 21, 2019 at Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Kelvin was born January 19, 1985 at Doctor’s West Hospital to Sonja (Truss) Combs and John Wesley Johnson. He was a huge fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a very loving, caring and giving person. Even though he didn’t have much he would give you the shirt off of his back. If you needed his help he was always there. He would always take money out of his own pockets to feed the homeless.

Kelvin was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Ethel Johnson and Ernestine R. Marsh; great-grandmothers, Edith Davidson, Natalie Watson and Lena Mary Blackwell; cousin, Courtney Copeland.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Michelle Johnson,; mother, Sonja (Truss) Combs, father, John Wesley Johnson; stepfather, Jimmie Combs; grandparents, Roberta Truss, Sylvester Blackwell; great-grandfather, Hubert Davidson Sr.; children, Elijah, Kelvon, Shania, Jayden, Scott, Journey, Jamaris Johnson, Mykayla and Tyesha Jackson, Kimberly and Kaylee Swartz; siblings, Juan Minor, Lateesa Johnson, Kennetha Ransom Featherstone (Lamont), Tanqua Davis, Quinton Johnson, Demetria Thompson, Candy Thompson, Angel Johnson, Jimmieca Mitchell (Dale) , Deion Combs (Laqueaisha) and Tequila Casto, Kelvin and Kristi Lamb as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation 11:00 AM and Funeral Service 12:00 PM Monday, December 2, 2019

He would bring the kids by so I could see how fast they were growing.The front porch was his spot to talk about all the old memories…Kelvin had a kind heart and I will surely miss him, and that BIG smile……R.I.H.
