Kenneth J. Evans Sr. passed away unexpectantly on April 28th, 2022, at the age of 74.  He was Born on October 25th, 1947, to William and Constance Evans in Columbus, Ohio.

After graduating from South High School in 1965, Kenneth landed his first job at Westinghouse.  After Westinghouse, Kenneth became the Captain of the FOI of the Nation of Islam, holding that position for many years.  Over the years Kenneth has held many jobs from owning his own business to setting up programs for the homeless in Charleston, South Carolina.

Kenneth had 5 children: Kenneth Jr., William, Danine, Danette, and Asia with his first wife Deborah. Kenneth took pride in his family and always made time to be a part of their major life moments. Kenneth loved reading, fishing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Kenneth was predeceased by his parents, William J. Evans, Constance Evans. Brothers; Dale Evans and William J. Evans Jr. Grandsons; Kenneth J. Evans III, William J. Evans IV. Great-grandson; Hayden Malik Moore.

Kenneth is survived by his sons; Kenneth J. (Sabrina) Evans Jr., William J. Evans III, daughters; Danine Flowers, Danette (Vincent) Clarno, Asia (Dwain) Davis, Grandchildren; Porsha Evans, DeAndre Moore, Ravien (Antonio) Alexander, Xavier Evans, Devante Davis, Kayla Evans, Ramone Davis, Nyari Herron, TreVon Davis, Darius Davis, Mariah Evans, Zuri Clarno, William Flowers IV, Jakobi Evans, Xiomara Evans, Elijah Clarno, Atalia Evans, Katalaya Evans,  Great Grandchildren; Harlem Hunter, Boston Hunter, Raegan Moore, Carter Moore, Noelani Evans, and Nuri Alexander. Many more family and friends.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.
