Kenneth Grant

GrantKenneth

Kenneth Thomas Grant was born September 24, 1942 to Heppie Dorothy Grant Russell and Willie L. Grant in Westminster, South Carolina.

Kenneth was a product of South Carolina schools and a U.S Army Veteran. He was the proud father of four amazing children who he took pride in spending time with. Kenneth worked as a truck driver for R & J Solutions Inc. for many years until he became ill. Kenneth transitioned from labor to reward on Monday, June 25, 2018 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family.

Kenneth was charismatic and was affectionately known as Kenny by close friends and loved ones. He would often be found adorning his various hats and shades. He was known to be the life of the party and believed in doing it BIG! Whenever he was with his family, rather it be at a family reunion or a family get together, Kenny made sure it was BIG! Kenneth was a family man who enjoyed playing his guitar, cooking, fishing, and gardening. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, whom he represented even during the off season. Kenneth was a hands-on father and grandfather, he supported his children in all of their endeavors and could be caught bragging about their accomplishments. During the summer Kenneth looked forward to family vacations at the beach and attending the annual Grant-Johnson family reunion faithfully every year. Kenny was an amazing man and will be loved and missed by all that knew him.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents Willie L. Grant and Dorothy Grant Russell, sister Carmellia Jackson, and brother John M. Grant.

Kenneth leaves to cherish and honor his legacy with daughters Alison K. Grant, Megan N. Grant, sons Charles Martin, Larry Hawkins Jr., all of Columbus, OH., grandchildren Angelo Rieser, Azia Martin, Michael Henderson, Maya Martin, Jada Hawkins, Larry Hawkins, Kiera Grant, Anthony Myles, Josiah Hauser, sisters Imogene Goodlet, Geraldine McCauley, Dorothy (Bobby) Gatewood, Wilma L.
