Kenneth H. “Kenny” Montgomery was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 20, 1948 to the union of his parents the late Barbara Jean and Charles Williams. He attended schools in the Columbus Public School system and graduated from East High School. He played basketball while attending East High School. His passion for basketball extended into his adulthood as he was on several leagues including the “Old Timers.”

After graduating from high school, Kenny began his work career at Coca Cola Distribution Company as a driver and sales associate. He later worked at Columbus Distribution Company (aka Budweiser) and began as a driver. He was later promoted to a route supervisor.

Kenny was married twice and from these unions he had two daughters, Kenyna and Tiquada.

Kenny’s favorite pastime was going to family gatherings – cookouts and dinners.

Kenny joined Triedstone Baptist Church in 2003 and became a very active member. He served on the Transportation ministry providing transportation services to members to and from the church. He also provided transportation services for senior residents at National Church Residences.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara Jean and Charles Williams; beloved great-aunt, Trixie Marcella Lewis; sisters, Margaret Montgomery and Harriett Cleveland; and brothers, Michael Montgomery and Charles Williams.

Kenny leaves to cherish his memories his daughters, Kenyna Montgomery and Tiquada Montgomery; bonus daughter, Tasha Crawford; brother, Jeffrey (Tammi) Williams; sisters, Beatrice (Denver) Williams, Tonjia Williams, and Terri (Julio) Williams; son-in-law, Lawrence Williams; special friend, Patricia; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation 1:00pm and Memorial Service 2:00pm Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
