Kieta Charles Smith

Kieta Charles Smith was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 11, 1981 to the union of Jasper Smith and Carolyn Edwards Logan. Kieta attended Columbus City Schools and later earned his GED.

Kieta was known for being outspoken, never bit his tongue, but very intelligent with it. He loved music and was an artist of pencil drawings, and also had a keen flare for poetry.

Kieta’s personality was favored by a lot. It was his charm that overwhelmed us and always outweighed his bad side. He was truly loved and was his grandfathers and mothers favorite.

Kieta was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Logan, and his son Kieta DaQuan Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory, father Jasper Smith, daugheter Kira S. Smith, brother Everett L. Logan, sister Lavon Leah Logan, niece Ronitra Lashawntay Whatley, girlfriend Sheryl Gamble, grandmother Mary L. Garth, aunts Liz (Frank) Hughes and Darlene Garth, uncle Gregory Garth and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation 2:00pm and Funeral 3:00pm Saturday May 16, 2015 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE 2500 Cleveland Ave.
