Kinnetha Woods was born November 21,1955 to Ronald and Alberta Wade in Columbus Ohio, and later married Wayne Woods Sr. Kinnetha departed this life October 2, 2021. Kinnetha proceeded in death by husband Wayne Woods Sr., Mother Alberta Wade, Father Ronald Wade, and Sister Toya Wade.

Kinnetha leaves to cherish her memory Brother Michael Wade, Daughter Fatina (William) Richards, Son Wayne Woods Jr., Grandchildren Kiante Woods, Daisha Richards, Destiny Richards, DaMya Richards, Caleb Woods, and Blaze McNair. Along with a host of family and friends.

Kinnetha was a graduate of Linden McKinley High School, and later began working at The Ohio State University. Kinnetha was promoted to several different departments within Ohio State and later retired from The Ohio State University after 32 years of service. Kinnetha served as the secretary for The Sensational Keys of Harmony, she was the Co-Founder of Open Mic Night, she was a member of the Mississippi Amazing Women’s and Men’s Club, and she sang with the gospel group OCC.

Kinnetha loved the Lord, and enjoyed attending church, and noonday bible study. She also enjoyed being the life of any event, entertaining everyone and especially playing her favorite card game bid whist. Kinnetha was a very loyal and loving person, but could also tell you off if you do her or her family wrong. Kinnetha enjoyed sitting on the porch hanging out with ALL the neighbors laughing and looking out for each other, which we began to call it the Porch Ministry. Kinnetha loved to travel with her BFF going to see her other BFF in Mississippi.

Kinnetha really loved her family and wouldn’t let anyone mess with her brother, only she could mess with him and no one else. She looked out for her grandchildren and would do anything for them. She was so proud of her children and really enjoyed bragging about them and spending time with her children and the Crew. Kinnetha’s unique personality and love will truly be missed.
