Kirk Christopher Sutton

SuttonKirk

Kirk Christopher Sutton was born on December 18, 1968 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Nathan Jerome and Marva Ann Sutton. He gave his life to Christ at a young age and was baptized at Triedstone Baptist Church under Bishop Jerome H. Ross, where he was a member of YDS (Young Disciples of the Stone). In 2017 he joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Senior Pastor, Lance E. Humphrey.

Kirk was a graduate of Columbus Alternative H.S., and wrestled and played football for Linden McKinley H.S. While attending High School, Kirk was employed with Krogers where he was known as “Kurtious Kirk”.

After High School Kirk was blessed to have 3 loving children: Jakory, Deondre and Briana. After being away from Columbus for some years, Kirk returned to Columbus where he earned his CDL and became a hard-working truck driver. Kirk had just caught a break to become partners of Cesar’s Convenient Store.

On Kirk’s return to Columbus, after thirty years, he reunited with his first love, Angelique Milner. They dated for two years while in High School. Kirk then married his soul mate on August 18, 2018. Kirk adopted Angelique’s two children Shonn and Savannah. These beautiful children made them one happy family.

To his family and friends Kirk was known to have one of the best hearts. He was outgoing, a hard worker, a competitor, and a comedian. But most of all still the BABY BROTHER.

Kirk was called home by the Lord on August 18, 2020 as he slept, which was also his 2nd year wedding anniversary.

Kirk was preceded in death by both parents Nathan Jerome and Marva Ann Sutton; and nephews Rashad, Kurtis, Kristopher and Kevin “K.L.” Sutton.

Kirk is survived by his wife Angelique; Sons Jakory, Deondre and Shonn Sutton; Daughter’s Briana and Savannah Sutton; Grandchildren Maddix, Marijah, Kamiya, Keondre, Kingston, and Emberlynn; Brothers Kenneth and Kevin Sutton. Sister/Cousin Monica (Larry) Jackson; Mother-in-law D.L.
