Kwann L. McCrary

McCraryKwann

Kwann Laurice McCrary was born September 1, 1978, the son of Linda McCrary. He was born in Columbus OH where he then moved to Holden WV. Kwann was a 1996 graduate from Logan High School. Shortly after graduating moved to Charleston, WV. He passed from this life to be with his heavenly father on December 20th unexpectedly.

During his 44 years here on Earth, Kwann touched so many lives and left a major impact in each. First and foremost, Kwann loved his savior and answered the call to Christ at the age of 16. Kwann always called on his Heavenly Father in faith and was never embarrassed to let others know that he was a follower of Christ. His humbleness and politeness were qualities that people would often mention about him. His love for family, especially for his daughter and stepchildren, were his driving force. Kwann loved and adored his mother like no other. He would often refer to her as his sweet queen. He had a special bond with his brothers and sisters. Growing up in the 80s and 90s were special times for us kids. We reflect on those days of watching wrestling, Monday Night Football, MTV, In Living Color, Summer trips to see Uncle Richard and Aunt Constance, and many other precious memories that will last a lifetime.

Kwann was proceded in death by his grandparents, Alice and Gilbert Rankin; aunt, Shirley Rankin; and uncle, Ralph Rankin.
