LaClaysha Smith

LaClaysha Marie Smith was born to Lakisha Marie Watkins and Clarence Smith on November 11, 2000 in Columbus, Ohio. LaClaysha turned in her earthly wings for heavenly ones on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the young age of
22. She was our angel.

LaClaysha was a proud graduate of Focus Academy. She was in training to be an assistant manager at Speedway. She was strong, had the biggest heart and loved kids. LaClaysha was intentional about accomplishing her goals for the future. She was currently taking law enforcement classes to pursue her goal as a police officer.

LaClaysha is preceded in death by grandparents Clyde J, Roxanne Bolding, Carmen and Willie Smith. Her cousin TaShonna Bolding and her special cousin/brother DesJuan Johnson. Great-grandmother, Margaret Madison.

LaClaysha is survived by her beloved wife BreaAuna Jackson, children – Dorayi and Brae’s kids, mother – LaKisha Watkins and her father – Clarence Smith. Brothers – Cornelius Mayfield and Ta’Montae Head, Aunts – Erica, Tamiko and
Kevina. Uncles – Amonta, Eric and Kayron. Special Uncle/Dad – Bruce Hickman. A host of 30 cousins and Special cousins – Marquan, Ladeja, Breanna. She also leaves many friends including her best friend – Kewai Hunter to cherish her memories.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd.).

Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
