Larry James Brihm Jr. was born March 21, 1970 in Columbus, Ohio. He departed this life on January 14, 2021.

Larry received his education though Columbus public schools, graduate of south high school.

Larry James Brihm Jr, aka Jabo, was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and grandfather. He worked as a security guard dedicated to protecting his family and others.

Larry was outgoing with a since of style! Larry was passionate about football (his favorite NFL team was the Dallas cowboys) he loved laughing, being with his family, having fun with friends and mentoring.

Larry grew up on the southside in the Lincoln park area; where he enjoyed swimming at Lincoln park pool, he was dedicated to the community as a member of the mega boys and Naptown Riders MCS, his favorite colors were red and black.

Larry loved to coach little league football with his father Larry Sr (president of Midwest Bear Cats). A dedicated brother to the end, Jaboo was a member of the Naptown Riders MCS. Larry will be forever remembered for his love and compassion as great father and protector.

Larry is preceded in death by sister, Betty Brihm

Larry is survived by children, Larry Sullivan, Latoya Brihm-Christian, Lorenzo Brihm, Demetrius Brihm, Larita Brihm, Lanita Brihm, Phillip Brihm, and Latasha Gresham; parents Larry James (Cat E. Banks) Brihm Sr and Vivian Lee Watkins; siblings, Tina Pouye, Derrick Brihm, Ebony Brihm, Ronnie Brihm, Aleesha Brihm, Cameron Brihm, Terrence Brihm, Shalontaye Bollers, Marcus Richardson, John Collins, Markie Alexander, Charlie Alexander, and Jimmie Tatum; special lady, Racquel Yarbrough; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Public Visitation 9:00am, Private Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Monday, January 25, 2021 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.

May the Lord keep your family uplifted my brother! I’m so glad over the years we have got to spend a lot of time together as you would come over and spend countless hours with your best friend Kevin Taylor and It never failed you would fall fall asleep in the recliner during a movie you and Kevin were watching. You would come over into my home office as I was working and say what’s up SIS! Boy will I miss that… Jabo, I want you to know I have your friend/brother’s back no matter what! You have always been a great friend/brother/uncle to my family!
