Larry Dorman, age 73, was born January 13, 1947 and departed this life of April 16, 2020.

Larry graduated from Kimball High School in West Virginia. He was a former gospel singer with several gospel groups in Columbus, OH.

Larry enjoyed fishing, dancing, old school gospel songs, walking and singing, cooking wild game, and he was an avid sports fan.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Doyal Dorman Sr; mother, Lucy Mae Pinkard; stepmother, Lottie Goins; grandmother, Emma Pinkard; and nephews, Raymond Riley II and Raymond Riley III.

Larry leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Terrance Rode and Larry Rode; siblings, Doyal Dorman Jr, Odessa Riley, John Dorman, and Marcella King; special nieces, Raylene (Clifford) Bevly, Debra Riley, Pamela King, Sherita Braswell, Antoinette Riley, Mercedes Riley, Micah Broadnax, Angel Broadnax, Stephanie Riley, Odyssey Riley, LaQuille Farmer, Nichelle King, Jeri Pittman, and Jacquelyn McDonald; nephews, Jermaine Riley, Antoine Riley, Dominique Riley, Raymond A. Riley, Rayshawn Riley-Clardy, Michael Williams, and Jason King; special friends, Tina Benton; stepdaughters, Tia Benton, Tanisha Benton, Tashawna Benton, and Latonya Benton; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Private Services entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
