Condolence from Carmen Crockett Smith on November 30th, -0001 12:00 am

The Lord is my strength, a very present help in the time of trouble. Psalms 46:1. I want to extend my deepest sympathies to the Watkins and Roberts Family. Laschelle was my best friend throughout middle school and high school. I stayed with her over many vacations while we attended track practice and worked during our spring breaks. LaSchelle's family was an extension of my own. Mrs. Watkins was my other mother. You think some people will live forever, this is indeed a shock to me. But I am grateful that LaSchelle knows the Lord and is now in a better place. Though we don't understand the speed of her return, God knows the plans that He has laid out for her, her family and for us all. To her husband, who I didn't know, she spoke so highly of you. I know that you are the apple of her eye. I pray that you and your family (the twins and extended family) will move onward and continue doing God's work. LaSchelle's boys were her life. I know this seems like just words, but the Lord sticketh closer than a brother, a mother and a father. Lean on him in this time of need. Your mother instilled the love and Grace of God in you. I know she was a living example of God's overcoming and loving spirit. Use that as your strength. To the church family, know that God does not make mistakes. Hold your Pastor up and support him and ensure that every need is met and that the ministry of the Lord continues. To Gary, Mrs. Watkins and Albert Jr., you will always be in my heart. I pray fo you continually. To God be The Glory, though we don't understand, we give HIm the highest praise. Selah.
