Latasha D. Washington

WashingtonLatasha

Our courageous angel, Latasha Delon Washington “Tasha” was born August 31, 1971 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to mother Rebecca Harvey.

Tasha grew up in Columbus, Ohio with her three siblings, mother, and step father Charles Harvey during her early childhood. Affectionately nicknamed, “Squirt or T” by her siblings. Tasha’s laughter was contagious always followed behind a smile that lit up the room. She was truly a happy spirit to have around. Tasha was a loving mother, sister, niece, aunt, and friend. She created a nickname for everyone she knew and it stuck with you forever. She had a passion for poetry. She loved listening to music, watching movies, and she most definitely loved to eat. Her pride and joy were her kids and her grandbaby. She loved them more than anything in this world. Tasha always had a protective shield. When you were around her, you knew you would be okay.

Tasha is preceded in death by her grandparents, Anna Pearl and Felix Washington; Aunt Denise ‘Dee’ Waderker; Uncles Victor and Marc Washington; and Uncle Elmer Harvey.

Tasha leaves behind to cherish her laughter, love, and memories; children Brandon and Brandi Washington; granddaughter Braylynn Land-Washington; mother Becki Harvey; sister Chanele Washington (CJ); brothers Damien and Charles Jr. Harvey; aunts Mickey (Randy) and Sheila; special “sister-friend” Tammy” Chicken” Gilman, CiCi Armstrong, Michelle Bridges; best friend William “Peewee” Warner (Dookie) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
