Laura Anderson, age 36, was born February 29, 1984 and departed this life on January 7, 2021.

Laura was a faithful employee of Sunrise Healthcare Center from 2016 – 2021. Her job allowed her to do something she loved, which is to care for other people.

Laura was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edna Mae Anderson, Mary Kilgore, and Milton Busby; and aunt, Margarett Coles.

Laura leaves to cherish her memory, son, O’Han Anthony Thomas; daughter, Laura Ann Anderson; parents, Greg Jeffery Anderson and Phillis Elaine Busby Anderson; siblings, Steve Watson, Jeffrey Busby, Tommy Busby, Greg Anderson Jr., Sherron Radcliff, and Marissa Saultz; sister-in-law, Jackie Israel; fiancé, Michael Thomas; special cousin, Marsha Moore; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Laura will be sincerely missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be especially missed by those who had the pleasure of loving her.

Visitation 1:00pm and Memorial Service 2:00pm Monday, January 18, 2021 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

I love y’all so much. I can not believe I’m even writing this about someone I grew up with. Time waits for no one and I’m super sick, we never made the time to reconnect. We kept saying we were going to get together and it didn’t happen. I will always live with that regret. This is not goodbye but I’ll see you again soon. With love, Amber
