Laura Jane Danner (Alexander) was one of sixteen children born to Tyra Nickles and Laura Jane Nickles Alexander of North Carolina on July 29, 1928.

Laura married William Dewitt Danner of Newton, North Carolina who was the son of a minister, at the young age of 16. The couple stayed and lived in North Carolina for a while, then moved to Columbus, Ohio where they made a life for themselves with their young daughter, Yvonne, and son, Braysean Dewitt Danner.

Laura eventually owned and operated her own dry cleaning business, Prestige Dry Cleaners off 5th Ave for over 40 years, until retiring in 2015.

Laura is preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Danner whom she lost in 2000 as well as all of her 16 siblings.

Left to cherish her memory is her Daughter, Yvonne (Louis) Harrell; Grandchildren, Farrah, Laura, Sir-Allen Ray, Aza’Rah, and BrayCeon; Great-grandchildren, Nala, Havalyn, and Josiah; Great- great granddaughter, Alana; Special Foster Children, Mathew, Michael and Sierra; Goddaughter, Camille and many nieces, nephews and other extended family members as well as friends.

Laura will be forever missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.

Visitation 9:00am and Funeral 9:30am at Rehoboth Temple Church of Christ 1111 E. Long Street.

Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
