Learry Miller Sr. was born in Buffalo, New York Sunday, February 14, 1954. He was the son of Marilyn Miller. Miller was a resident of Columbus, Ohio for over 40 years and a member of New Fellowship Baptist Church. He was married for 13 years to Mary Rose Fletcher-Miller.
Learry loved being a father, grandfather and great grandfather. He served in the United States Navy for 15 years. As a young adult he lived a meaningful life and provided a structured stability to his family. He was always encouraging and good and bad. He was a loving and helpful person to everyone that was blessed to know him.
Learry was preceded in death by his mother Marilyn Miller.
Learry was the father of four children. Left to cherish his memory are his sons Dervon Fletcher, Joseph (Maricka Smith) Fletcher; and his daughter, Andrietta Fletcher.
Learry will be dearly missed by all 24 grandchildren, Ryiesha (Sterling) Haywood, Juan, Terrell, Gerald, Kia (Antione) Dotson, Tajuan, Jujuan, Dajolin and Devron and many more.
Learry is also deeply cherished by his 25 great-grandchildren his brothers and sisters.
Private Visitation 1:00 PM and Private Funeral Service 2:00 PM Monday, February 7, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).
