LeDale Murphy Sr., age 72. Sunrise October 13, 1944 in Cincinnati, OH and Sunset March 28, 2017 in Columbus, OH. LeDale attended East High School and is a Veteran of The U.S. Marines.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lindsey Murphy Sr. and Eleanor Jackson Smith; stepfather, Grant Smith; son TyYuan Cupe and brother Lindsey “Billy” Murphy Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sons Rondell (Jada) Murphy, LeDale Murphy II, Lendell Murphy and TraQuez Cupe; daughters, Leaya Murphy, Jada Murphy, Maki Murphy and Synaisha Cupe; sister, Grana Louise Smith; 2 stepchildren, Brandon Scott and Nicole Bass-Stith; nieces, Francine Marchelle and Cenequa (Leo) Gaston; nephew, Michael Murphy, 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation 9:00am and Funeral 10:00am Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Southfield Community Baptist Church 1399 Augmont Ave. Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
