Lenwood S. Hill, Jr affectionately known as “Len” was born in Lynchburg, Virginia on January 26, 1947, to the union of the late Lenwood S. Hill Sr. and Annie Hill. He took his final rest on April 18, 2023,
surrounded by his family.
Len was in the military which lead him to Columbus, OH after his honorable discharge. Len was kind and spoke little words. His kind and generous spirit will forever be missed.
Len is preceded in death by his parents and his late brother; Ronald W. Hill.
He leaves to forever cherish his memory, fiancé; Catherine Littlefield, daughters; Juana Smith, Shelby (Jesse) Bannerman, grandchildren; Rakeem Wilson, Keonta Crumedy, Asiona Wilson, and Kyrel Wesley, 3 great-grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends.
Visitation 1:00pm and Funeral 2:00pm Thursday, April 27, 2023 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
Inurnment 11:00am Friday, May 26, 2023 at Eastlawn Cemetery.
I’m in awl my heart felt condolences to the family Mr. Len was so sweet I will remember his funny stories and his kindness always treated me family. We usually get to stop in and check on Aunt Cat & Mr. Len but we got in late this time glad I seen them the last time I was home in 2020. Rest up Mr. Len love Lisa & Nate Hollins. San Antonio, Texas
