Leslie was born in Detroit MI on December 19,1982 to Melinda Marie Toone and Leslie Ford. She was called home to be with the Lord on January 26, 2020.

Leslie was a devoted mother of two children and very devoted aunt. She enjoyed the beach. She loved to take her children to the park and play with them outside, she thought nature was beautiful. Leslie also loved listening to music, cooking and was always trying to find new recipes! She overcame many obstacles and always saw the brighter side of everything. She was very optimistic and always seemed to find the positive in every situation. When she was small Ryan referred to her as “Yessie” because he couldn’t pronounce the L’s in her name for many years .

She was just a joy to be around and will be greatly

She leaves to cherish her memories , her daughter Amaya Renee Toone (15) and her son Heisman Haddnot (13) she leaves behind three sisters Summer Rhea Savage (43) Dorschelle Allix and Deja Alexandria Ingram (27) also two brothers Ryan Alexander Ford (33) and Jacob Morgan Wolfgang Kudjer (19) she also leaves behind 3 nieces Palyce Sierra Savage (23) Rafael Marie Wright (4) Camillia Rae Ford (3) also 3 nephews Jijane Williams (27) Coran Savage (20) and Dylan Johnson (14) and a host of other nieces and nephews , her aunts Kia Harris , Beverly Shortridge uncles Isaiah Alphonso Ford ll and Chester Ford .

Visitation 4:00 PM and Memorial Service 5:00 PM Saturday, March 14, 2020 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave.
