Leslie Barnes, 71, was born August 19, 1950, in Columbus, Ohio to the late James and Antoinette Ethel Bradford Barnes, passed into eternal life January 23, 2022.

Leslie attended Catholic schools until her early teenage years and transitioned to public schools where she attended East High School. After high school Leslie was employed by Ohio Job and Family Services where she served as a case manager for several years.

Leslie was a member of Christ The King Catholic Church. She was a very spiritual individual and enjoyed having discussions with friends, family and anyone would listen about her love for the Lord. Leslie loved her family with all her heart especially her son and grandchildren. She was funny and uplifting and always had a funny story to tell. Leslie would light up the room with her  laughter and smile. Although Leslie was known for her compassion, humor, and concern she did not “play” about things and people who mattered most.

Leslie is preceded in death by her parents James and Antoinette Barnes, Brothers, Juan Barnes, Byron Barnes, and Mark Barnes. Sisters, Stacy Williams, and Erica Barnes.

Leslie leaves to Cherish her memories her beloved son, Quentin Bivens, Six grandchildren, Dru, Chris, Quentin, Jordynn, Alézha, and Jaydynn. Brother, Michael (Rhonda) Barnes of Texas. Sisters, Jessica Burkhart of Maryland and Alison Barnes and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

Leslie was the life of the party and will deeply be missed by all who loved her.
