Leslie Anita Vance was born March 21, 1963 in Columbus, Ohio. Leslie passed away peacefully at 10:19pm on July 31, 2022 at the age of 59.

Leslie loved to live life. She enjoyed music, sports games, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was an advocate believer in taking care of the community and treating people the way you wanted to be treated. Her smile, love, and spirit will live on forever.

Leslie is preceded in death by her mother, Maime Vance; father, Foster Washington; younger brother, Darrell Vance; and older sister, Yvonne Vance.

Leslie will be lovingly remembered by daughters, Kecia Vance and Ciera Vance; son, Savion Payne; grandchildren, Dawayne Casey Jr., DaQuan Casey, Daviona Casey, Deandre Casey, and Denim Casey; sisters, Linda Vance, Diane Underwood, Lena Vance, Aleta Vance, and Debra Vance; best friend, Cindy Peoples; companion of 30 years, Samuel Payne; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Thursday, August 11, 2022 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
