Lewis D. Byrd Jr., age 61. Sunrise May 20, 2019 and Sunset June 25, 2019.

Lewis D. Byrd Jr. went to Shawnee/Portsmith High School then later transferred to East High School in Columbus, Ohio. Lewis had many jobs including a Material Handler, Kai-Klan Pet Food, Dell Belcan where he did shipping and packing and also praxis where he was a mechanic tech.

Lewis enjoyed reading the Bible, studying all of the Gods, fishing, playing video games, and training dogs. He was a nature guy. He also enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved to listen to music, his favorite artist to listen to was Tupac Shakur.

Lewis was a kindhearted man who loved his family especially his great granddaughter Kyla.

He is preceded in death by father Lewis D. Byrd Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory; loving wife Anita L. Davis-Byrd, mother Vi Bumgardner, step mother Savannah Byrd, daughters Luv, Hope, Nicole Davis, Rochelle Byrd, Caprise Davis, LaTosha Lewis-Byrd, Cheree Davis, April Byrd, Ashley Wade, and Latisha McNeil, sons Lewis Byrd III., and Michael Wilson, sisters Gloria Marshall-Batte, Nina Byrd-Powell, and Tracy Williams, brothers Terrence Dentry, Michael Carruthers, Rodney Cowan, Treg Suber, Hubert Batte, Mark Douthitt, and Charles Jackson, grandmother Sarah Crawford Byrd, aunts Ruth and Rosie Martin, uncles James , John, and Leon Byrd, nieces Kia Morrison, Kyiyawana Byrd, Shawnna Marshall, Lashayjia Byrd, Latonya Byrd, and Kayley Suber, nephews Javon Marshall, Kwamon Marshall, Preston Byrd, Bub, and Carlos Harriston, favorite cousins Keith and Bo Martin, also 29 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation 2:30pm and Memorial Service 3:00pm Friday, July 19, 2019 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave.
