Lina M. Love was born to Albert and Genevieve Centollela on June 2, 1943.

Lina attended and graduated from Michigan State University and received her Masters in Education at Antioch University in San Francisco, California. Lina searched for the meaning of her last name and practiced at Ashrams’ in California, Pennsylvania and Ohio, loving women and children, serving the disenfranchised, helping the poor and lonely, and loving her family and friends.  Lina became a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church where served with the African American Historical Ministries and taught Children’s Church.

Lina was proceed in death by her parents, Albert and Genevieve Centolella; brother Robert Centollela and a sister.

Lina is survived by her daughter, Michelle R. Love; son, Michael W. (Angie) Love; brother, Paul (Diane) Centolella; 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; and a host of other family and many friends.

Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00 noon Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church 428 E. Main St. Ministry of Comfort entrusted to MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH 2500 Cleveland Ave.
