Linda C. Cowans

CowanLinda

Linda Carol Cowans was born February 26, 1958, to William and Eleanor Suber in Columbus, Ohio.

She was educated in Columbus, Ohio graduating from Linden McKinley High School; and later on attending College studying nursing.

Linda loved her family but more importantly she loved the Lord. You would often find Linda reading scriptures from the Bible and listening to gospel music throughout the day. Her family meant the world to her and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them. In fact, her grandchildren would often go to her instead of their parents because they know she would never tell them no. Her doors were always open for anyone in time of need.

Linda endured a lot of pain, but she lived a life that cannot die. She recently started her bucket list, she reunited with her daughter and she took her first trip to the beach. It was like a kid waking up on Christmas Day. Linda was a foodie. Just mention food (especially ribs) and her eyes would light up. She had a smile that would light up the room. God knows we’re going to miss that smile but we know she’s in heaven eating, laughing and smiling down on us.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, William and Eleanor Suber; sister, Sheryl Suber; brothers, Wilbert and Danny Trus (he was buried on September 9th).

She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Terah Campbell; six sons, Anthony (Pam) Suber, Tyrone (Tiffany) Cowans, Nicholas Cowans, Guy (Teela) Cowans, Darius Cowans and Isahman Ford-Cowans; brothers, David, Darrell, Bryant (April) and Willian (Shirley) Suber, Ronald Michael and Mark (Judy) Stewart, Danny and Donald Trus; sisters, Eleanor, Sharon and Joyce Stewart; twenty grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Linda will be truly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.
