My sister, we have never lived more than 5 minutes apart from each other our entire life from our parents home to the apartments we moved in and finally to our houses we back in 1966. Easter egg hunts for our kids and grandchildren , holiday and for no reason of which neighborhood family came just because they saw the cars and knew they were welcome. it was a beautiful life of raising children and we always did everything together from shopping of which I wasn’t good at to going to the grocery store.. I thank God for that I don’t think anyone else can say that they were only 5 minutes away from their sister their entire life but for that I am eternally grateful. God is good. Through grief and sorrow you are always by my side. Love you and will miss you dearly but I know we will meet again.

  26. My condolences to the family. May God continue to bless you with strength and comfort during this time of loss.

  27. Pearl Reeves Washington

First Lady Monica, Pastor Donny, and Family,

I’ll always have precious memories of Aunt Linda going back to my childhood. We used to tell stories of Super Ryan and Magic Linda. Our time together was full of love and laughter. She had a positive, upbeat, nurturing spirit, and she loved her family. I wish her everlasting bliss in paradise.

  29. John 5:25 -29. 25Most truly I say to you, the hour is coming, and it is now, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who have paid attention will live. 26 For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted also to the Son to have life in himself. 27 And he has given him authority to do judging, because he is the Son of man. 28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.

  30. My sincere condolences to the Barfield family. May God love ❤️ and the beautiful memories strengthen and comfort you.

Aunt Linda, growing up in Columbus from an 8 yr old to adulthood you provided a place that gave me a sense of “family”. Family and those who became family. Always an open door, and a hot meal. I alway loved that lil cabinet with the Lil Debbie snacks LOL. It all may have seemed like just normal life for you, but it meant the world to me to always be able to pop in and see my Barfield family. RIH

  34. To the BARFIELD family Vanessa, Monica and Melissa and her wonderful grandchildren, and sons-in-law my heartfelt sympathy for your loss. She is my big sister and to know her is to love her. We must take comfort in the fact that she is now resting. My condolences to my sisters Cynthia and Sharon and your families and all who love her.

  35. My prayers and condolences to the Barfield and Fitzgerald family in your wife and passing of your mother.
