Loma Diane Lindsay was born on December 9, 1955 in Marion, Ohio to Edward and Phyliss Finch. Loma was a longtime resident of Marion, Ohio before moving to Columbus, Ohio. Loma Lindsay was called home on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.
Loma worked in the nursing field caring for many patients over the years. She shared a special bond with each and every one of her beloved grandchildren. She had a pure heart of gold. She enjoyed cooking, eating, shopping, and spending quality time with family and friends. Loma enjoyed talking to new people and she never met a stranger. She will be deeply missed.
Loma was preceded in death by parents; Edward Earl and Phyliss Jean Finch, brothers; Eddie Bear Finch, Gregory Jones, Gordon Jones and Daniel Coleman, sister; Phyliss Finch Witcher.
Loma is survived by daughters; Tamara Lavonne Finch and Lawanda Tynelle Lindsay, both of Columbus, Ohio, brothers; Michael (Darlene) Breaston of North Carolina, Robert (Lona) Finch of Florida, sisters; Norma Jean Showers of Urbana, Ohio, Sherry (Robert) Winston of Mansfield, Ohio, Constance Pettit of Marion, Ohio, 9 grandchildren; Ashleigh, Jamil, Geromika (Dhananjay), Kileigha, Davazia, Lemisha, Da’Von, Dalajia and Davi’Aire. 8 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

I’ll forever cherish the childhood memories I had with my dear sister Loma as adults we didn’t see each other as much for that thing called life happened and spread us all distance apart from each other but the Love was always there.
