Lorraine Day Truss “Cindy Trust” was born in Columbus Ohio, May 5, 1958, to Elnora and Thomas C. Truss Jr. She attended Columbus Public Schools and Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board. Cindy loved the Lord with all her heart. She lived her life the best she knew how and the best she could and was always willing to give to help others.

Cindy loved to go shopping with her daughter and mother and also spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Blessed with sixty-four years of life, Cindy, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, January 22, 2023. Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Thomas C. Truss Jr., husband, Arthur Kent and beloved son Derrick Truss.

Cindy leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Rivkah Day Truss, AKA “Precious”, (Rocco Jones), grandchildren, Jacob Jordan, Mia’Bella Jordan, Isabella Jordan, Carter Jordan, Trinity Jones, True Jones, sons Marlon Truss AKA “Braxton”, and Keon Truss; mother Elnora Truss, sisters Darlene Truss, Sharon (Michael) Bridges, Brothers Thomas (Barbara) Truss, Larry Truss, Tyrone Truss (Angie Smith), Roy Truss; and a host of others including family and beloved friends.

Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Friday, February 3, 2023 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.

Interment at Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
