Louisa Walker

Louise Walker, of Columbus, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at St. Ann’s hospital in Westerville, Ohio. She was born to Richard and Constance Stinson on June 28, 1951 in Columbus, Ohio, the oldest daughter of 9 children.

Louise grew up on the hilltop of Columbus and graduated from West High School. Louise married and had 2 beautiful daughters, Latoya and Lakitia. She was a member of various churches throughout her life.

Louise was an excellent conversationalist, enjoyed worshipping the Lord, shopping, doing hair, dancing, spending time with family and friends, and “winning” at the casino.

Louise’s beautiful smile brighten up every room. She had an infectious amount of energy. She was “EVERYTHING”. She was the heart of her family.

But her greatest joy came from spending time with her parents, siblings, daughters and 4 grandchildren. She often enjoyed traveling to see her daughter, Lakitia and family in Charlotte, N.C., although she wasn’t a fan of the long drive.

Louise enjoyed boasting about her 2 daughters, grandkids and their successes. She was very proud of all of their accomplishments. She was overjoyed by Latoya’s decision to follow in her mother’s footsteps, in becoming a registered nurse. Latoya and Lakitia took great pride in caring for their mother over the years. Especially, Latoya with her nursing expertise.

Louise was known by many as “Sweet Lou” due to her loving heart and the overwhelming amount of care she showed for people with real sincerity.

Louise was generous with her beautiful smile, her time, and support for others, but was humble in all her deeds. She displayed unconditional love to her family, children and grandchildren, not just through her words but through her actions. She loved and was loved by many.

Louise is preceded in death by her mother Constance Stinson and brother Lamont Stinson. She leaves to cherish her memory with her father Richard Stinson Sr., daughters Latoya Walker (Neal), and Lakitia Brown (Chad), grandchildren Breaunna, Loryn, Kierra, and Rafael Brown, brothers James, Richard, Jeffrey (Crystal) and Mark Stinson, sisters Lorraine Stinson, Lewgean Davidson (Percy), and Lynette Collins (Maurice), former spouse Ralph Walker, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends; Special friends, Delilah Turner, and William Jameson. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

No words can express this time except for King Jesus words… John 14:2-4. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.” May His Peace that surpasses ALL understanding comfort your family during this time.

“REALLY GONNA MISS YOU”
SONG BY
SMOKEY ROBINISON

Really gonna miss you,
It’s really gonna be different without you
Time is gonna be hard and slow
For the rest of my life
I’m gonna be thinking about you, yes I am
Time came when you had to go
I’ll miss you my buddy
I’ll miss you my friend
I promise my love for you will never end
Really gonna miss you
Everything about you, your smiling face
I know you want us to all be strong
Really gonna miss you
I know you’re gone to that magic place

Besties forever
