Mother Manola M. Crump, 90 transitioned this life on Resurrection Sunday on April 4, 2021, at Heartland of Westerville Nursing Facility in Westerville, Ohio. Mother Crump was born on March 12, 1931 in Saltillo, MS. She was born the daughter of Bluford and Canary Cunningham Barnes. She was employed by Dr. William and Carol Gordon for a number of years until her retirement.
Mother Crump or (then known as Pastor Crump) was the Senior Pastor of Faith Temple Pentecostal Church of Youngstown, Ohio for 17 years until she retired from the pastorate in 2000. Mother Crump served on a national platform of District Supervisor for 12 years for the North East Ohio District of the Fire Baptized Holiness Church.
Mother Crump was a faithful member of Unity Christian Fellowship Church for the past 9 years, where she served on the Mother’s Board, taught School of Wisdom (Sunday School), and Word Empowerment Bible Study. Over the years, Mother Crump has served as a mentor, a mother to many young women, imparted words of wisdom, and was an encouragement to many. Also, Mother had a unique “Phone Ministry” that she was faithful to on daily basis ministering, checking on and encouraging anyone who had a need.
She leaves to cherish her memory and rejoice in her eternal reward her children, Michael (Kathy) Crump of Youngstown, Kenneth (Sheri) Crump, Dr. Beverly Crump, and Christopher (Charisse) Crump all of Columbus. She has one remaining sister Ella (Jim) Nichols of Chicago, IL. Three sister in-laws, Myrtle (Bay) Metts, Ann Bost, and Ella Crump of Youngstown. And, one brother-in law Howard (Sybil) Young of Youngstown. Also, there are 16 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grand-Children, a host of Nieces, Nephews, Relatives and Friends. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 61 years William E. Crump, and two sons Wayne Crump, Benny Crump, and four siblings, Leon (Bo) Barnes, Noble Barnes, Ann Rucker and Ellis Barnes.

Visitation 10:00 AM and Funeral Service 11:00 AM Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Unity Christian Fellowship Church, 3833 Westerville Rd. An additional Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am Tuesday April 20, 2021 at New Beginnings Outreach Ministries 2007 South Schenley Ave. followed by interment at Todd Cemetery in Youngstown, OH. Mask and Social Distancing are required at both services.
