Marcella (Sutton) Redman age 65 of Columbus, Ohio went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2023.
Marcella attended Columbus Public Schools. She retired from Meijer after 23 years of service. Her favorite pastime was playing the slot machines at the casino. She was a winner many times, “but you would never know, because she kept it quiet.” She also loved spending time with her children and other family members.
Marcella was preceded in death by her mother; Delores Marie Wright, father; Archie Monroe Sutton Sr., brothers; Archie Monroe Sutton Jr., Richard, Wayne, and Marvin Tanner, sister; Sharon (Tiny) Green.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband; Earl Redman Jr., daughters; Monica (Charles) Clayborn, Iantha (Nathaniel) Nelson, sons; John Sutton, Earl Maurice Redman, Eric (Kelly) Redman, sisters; Delphia (Hayes) Hemphill, Katrinka (Lamar) Baxter, Pauline (Clarence) Huntley, Annette (Harold) Riggins, Deborah (Frederick) Coleman, Darlene Wright, aunt; Reatha Mae Brown, cousin; Jean Turner, grandchildren; DeVanique Grubb, Ka’johna Sutton, Dashia Wycuff, Aredessa Marcella Sutton, Shanika Pleasant, Dashon Redman, Johnathan Gilchrest, Earl Maurice Redman Jr., Johnae Marie Redman (Gilchrest), Trinity Burkes, Eric Redman Jr. Elite Redman, Natalie Nelson, Ivy Nelson and Ian Nelson, great-grandchildren; Jayden, Mason, Ny’Asia and Sage, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Marcella will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation 12:30 PM and Memorial Service 1:30 PM Sunday, March 12, 2023 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE EAST, 5456 E. Livingston Ave. (one block east of Noe Bixby, turn North on Lonsdale Rd).
