Marcus Jevonte Reed affectionately known as “Hammer”, 28 was born in Mansfield, Ohio to Debbie Jacocks and Anthony Reed Sr. on July 15, 1992. He was called home to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 20, 2021.

Marcus leaves to cherish his memory his devoted mother, Debbie Jacocks; father, Anthony (Jessica) Reed; sisters, Achana Jacocks and Asia Ivey; brothers, Rashad Reed, Anthony Reed Jr., Detwuan Reed, Myles Reed and Devan Reed; grandmothers, Bettie Standback, Joyce Reed and Diannah Taylor; grandfathers, Clifford (Yvette) Anderson and Jerry Moton Sr.; special cousin and mentor, Adolphus Taylor; life-time friends, Tallen Jenkins and Darien Moody; two special father figures in his life, Jeffrey Taylor and Michael Spikes and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Marcus considered himself most fortunate to also be blessed with a group of devoted friends who became brothers.

Visitation 9:00am and Funeral 10:00am Saturday, March 6, 2021 at New Birth Christian Ministries, 3475 Refugee Road.

Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
