Flewellen,

Marilyn Flewellen, 52. Sunrise December 31, 1958, Sunset April 4, 2011. She was a graduate of Eastmoor High School and a Special Needs Teacher Assistant with the Columbus City Schools. She was a member of Wayne Avenue Church of God, where she served in the Choir, on the Usher Board, and worked in the Food Pantry. She was preceded in death by her father Amos J. Flewellen. Left to cherish her memory, son Marcus (Taleeya) Flewellen, mother Violet Flewellen, brothers, Ronald (Holly) and Kenneth Flewellen, sisters, Victoria Dorsey, Diane (John) Watson, and Nancy Flewellen, grandchildren Tatyana and Tavon Flewellen, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.

Marcus, I worked with your mother at Grant Hospital and remember when she was pregnant with you. I retired from Grant in 1998 – but remember her so well. She was a wonderful care giver and brought her wonderful smile to many of our patients. I was her head nurse for several years. I was so sorry to see the obit in the paper – she was way to young to leave us -my prayers are with you and your family – I know she would have been a wonderful grandmother. sincerely Sharmon Rudin
