Mark Ruben Boswell, 57, died at his residence in Columbus, OH, on Sunday, January 23, 2011 after a lengthy illness. His parents, Ruben and Mary Boswell (Atlanta, GA) and brother, Ronnie Boswell (Atlanta,GA) preceded him in death. Leaving to mourn his death is his wife, Marva Davis Boswell; brother, Wesley Boswell (Atlanta, GA); son, Mark R. Boswell, Jr. (Atlanta, GA); mother-in-law, Minnie L. Davis (Springfield, OH); sister-in-law, Brenda Davis Williams (Richmond, VA); special friends: Rueben Hall, Thomas Glover, Lewis Jones; and many other relatives and friends. Mark graduated from North High School in Springfield, OH. After high school he joined the United States Navy where he received training in advanced data processing. Upon leaving the military he attended Wittenberg University, Georgia State University, and University of Nevada. He was employed by Medco Health before his illness. He was a member of Lone Star Lodge #22, Free and Accepted Ancient York Masons Prince Hall Origin, NC. Mark was a member of Triedstone Baptist Church, Columbus, Ohio where he participated in the Arms Ministry, Male Chorus, Ministry of Concern, Media Ministry, The Business Directory, “The Brotherhood” and The Men of Vision. During his life he received great joy from his wife and son. He also enjoyed reading, swimming, writing poetry, lyrics and using “computer technology”. Mark died victoriously in Christ.
