Mary Louise Patterson was born on January 17, 1961 to the Late John L. Patterson and Florence B. Patterson of Buckingham, Virginia. She departed this life on January 3, 2023 in Columbus, Ohio.
Mary was a devoted mother and bought much peace, love, joy, and laughter to many during her lifetime. She was always humble and never hesitated to give encouragement and support to those when needed.
Mary is originally from Buckingham, Virginia. She accepted Christ as her savior at an early age at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church in Buckingham, Virginia. She graduated from Buckingham County High School and later in her life pursued Nursing and graduated with her Nursing Certification from The Southside Community College in Farmville, Virginia.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Florence B. and John L. Patterson; and two sisters, Mattie K. Patterson of Rice, VA and Pearl A. Patterson of Richmond, VA.
Mary is survived by her two daughter, Michelle E. Perry and Deondrea M. Patterson of Columbus, OH; one brother, John L. Patterson Jr of Richmond, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation 10:00am and Funeral 11:00am Friday, February 10, 2023 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
