PeppersMary

Mary Louise (Wilkes) Peppers, Mary P was born November 7, 1953 to the late Alberta and Clarence Kelly. They moved to Columbus, Ohio when she was 7 years old, where she attended Highland Elementary and later John Burrough and graduated from Columbus Public Schools.

Mary P was a lover of outdoors, even in winter. She enjoyed riding horses, she loved softball and often caring for the senior citizens in the neighborhood (running errands, cleaning their porches), and she was an awesome bowler, but nothing compared to her love for family.

Mary P loved people and they loved her back. Mary P. was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Alberta Kelly; grandmothers, Sadie May and Mary Alice; brothers, Donald, Larry, Peyton, and Robert Wilkes.

Mary P leaves to cherish her memories, children, Charles (Maria), Shanell (Donnell) Gray, Shelmine (Anthony) Saunders, honorary daughter, Tiffany Davis; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; brothers, Floyd and Clyde (Kathy) Wilkes; sisters, Barbara (Thomas) Truss, Ruth (Robert) Butta, Flo Wilkes, and Sue Towns; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Mary will be missed by us all but never forgotten.

Visitation 1:00pm and Funeral 2:00pm Thursday, January 28, 2021 at MARLAN J. GARY FUNERAL HOME, THE CHAPEL OF PEACE NORTH, 2500 Cleveland Ave.
