Mason Lavelle King was born on January 09, 2002 to Freda King and Lavelle Snead. Mason grew up in McKeesport, Pa. He is an almighty Tiger!! Mason attended George Washington Elementary School, Founders Hall Middle School, and McKeesport High School. He moved to Columbus Ohio is 2018. He attended Linden McKinley and Walnut Ridge.
In Mason spare time loved to play basketball and play video games. Mason loved to be around family and friends. Mason was always smiling and laughing. He had a smile that would brighten up the room He attend a bible study youth ministry. He helps change people’s lives. One of his friends sent me a text that he would like for me to share that says:
“Hello, my name is Denzel, I am one of the boys who came with Taj yesterday. I’m sorry for your loss. Mason was my brother from another. First friend I made at Walnut Ridge when I transferred and moved to Berwick. Our friendship grew into a brotherhood. He bought me closer to God. If it weren’t for him, I would have never found my 2nd family and got involved with the bible study group.”
On August 17, 2022 at the age of 20, Mason Lavelle King passed away at home with family.
Mason is survived by his mother Freda King Burke and step-father Ramawn Burke, 4 brothers-Mcshan and Lavelle Jr. who reside in Pittsburgh, PA. Ramawn and Khidair who reside in Columbus, Ohio. 2 sisters- Shaquanna who resides in Pittsburgh, PA and Fremawne who resides in Columbus, Ohio. He also has 3 nephews and one niece who also reside in Pittsburgh, PA. He also will be missed by multiple cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents and friends.
Mason will be forever missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
