Mattie Martha Croomes, age 69, Sunrise March 7, 1950 and Sunset November 26, 2019 in Columbus, Ohio.

Mattie attended school in Georgia and held jobs. As a young woman, she was asked to do modeling but she loved baking. Anyone that knew her loved her baked goods.

As a member of Faith Tabernacle COGIC. She spent many years servicing the Lord and time with the people in the congregation. You could always find her giving her last to someone less fortunate. She never turned anyone away and always gave to all she knew.

Her unconditional love poured down on everyone she encountered. Anyone close to her knew that they could depend on her as a baby sitter because she loved children.

Mattie is preceded in death by parents Hardy and Ola Croomes, Sisters Massie Lee Allison, Rosa Sunderland, and Carrie Croomes, brothers George, Johnny, Melvin, and Hardy Croomes.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories; son Christopher, daughter Latisha, brother Larry, husband Walter Allison, sisters in law Ernestine Croomes and Colzie Croomes, grandchildren Christopher Hairston,
Briana Croomes, Desmond Hairston, Diana Little, and Tyrese Croomes, also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation 11:00am and Funeral 12:00pm Monday, December 9, 2019 at Faith Tabernacle COGIC, 1783 E. 23rd Ave.

Interment at Evergreen Burial Park.
